"The Company" Hopes To Be "Indesctructible" At It's First Competition Of The Season.
Piqua High School's show choir, "The Company" hopes to build on last year's success starting at the Ada Show Choir Invitational on Saturday, November 13. This season's program is entitled "Indestructible" and features the music of Imogen Heap, Sutton Foster, Beyonce Knowles, Alicia Keys, and Britt Nicole. The Company performs in preliminary competition at 5:00 P.M. Finals competition begins at 8:00 P.M.
Seven Piqua Music Students Selected For Honor Ensembles! 11/1/2010
PiquaHigh School will host the 2010 Ohio Music Education Association District 11 Honor Festival on Sunday November 21, 2010. Seven PiquaHigh School students were selected to participate in this year’s event.
The selected students are:
Choir –
Abby Hey, alto
Alexis Corvin, soprano
Shelbi Sullenberger, soprano
Band –
Aaron VanPelt, trumpet
Cassie South, tenor saxophone
Jarod Haney, tuba
Ben Beck, baritone
These seven students auditioned with hundreds of students from high schools throughout Miami, Logan, Darke and ShelbyCounties. Congratulations to these
students for their hard work and success! It is a great honor to be selected for participation in the honor choir and honor band.
